Women unequally impacted by coronavirus pandemic
The pandemic has affected everyone, but it hasn’t affected everyone equally. Women have been disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus. They’re more likely to have extensive caring responsibilities and they’re more likely to lose their jobs. Margaret Kerr, an assistant professor of human development and family studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, joins Live at Four to explain how women have been so disproportionately impacted.
