Woman struck by tow truck
Tow truck driver cited
MADISON, Wis. — A Madison woman was taken to a hospital after being struck by a tow truck on Wednesday afternoon.
Madison police said the 54-year-old woman was walking south in a crosswalk on North Allen Street at Kendall Avenue and the tow truck driver was turning from North Allen Street onto Kendall Avenue when the woman was struck just before 5 p.m.
The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The tow truck driver was cited for failure to yield.
