Woman seriously injured in late night hit-and-run
MADISON, Wis. — Police are searching for a white sedan with a moonroof they believe was involved in an early Sunday morning hit-and-run that sent one woman to the hospital with serious injuries.
According to a Madison Police Department incident report, police responded to a call at the intersection of East Johnson Street and Wisconsin Avenue shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday. Officers found a victim unconscious in the roadway in what appeared to be a hit-and-run accident. Police found no witnesses to the event.
Police took the victim, who has not yet been identified, to a nearby hospital.
