Woman punched during strong-armed robbery, police say
21-year-old says robbery happened on north side
MADISON, Wis. — A 21-year-old Madison woman told police Saturday that she was punched and robbed a couple weeks ago.
The woman said her purse was stolen during a strong-armed robbery around 6 p.m.0 Oct. 23, according to a release. She said she was walking on Spohn Avenue when a car pulled up and stopped.
Police said two men and a woman got out of the car and demanded money.
According to the release, the woman punched the victim and the group left with her purse.
