Woman forced in bathroom during Madison home invasion, PD says
MADISON, Wis. — Three men stole cash during an armed home invasion on Madison’s east side Tuesday night, police said.
Madison police said a 25-year-old woman was at her boyfriend’s house in the 5100 block of Camden Road at 8:10 p.m. watching television when three masked men burst into the home.
One intruder pointed a gun at her and forced her into a bathroom, while the other two rummaged through the residence, according to the report. The gunman yelled, “Where the money at?” The woman stayed quiet, but the intruders were able to find cash and leave.
Police said that shortly thereafter, the woman’s 26-year-old boyfriend returned from an errand and they called police.
Investigators said it was a targeted home invasion.
One of the intruders was described as black, in his early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, dark jogging pants and a bandana over his face.
