Woman finds dog lost after husband’s death
MIDDLETON, Wis. — An out-of-state woman has been reunited with her dog that went missing when she came to the Madison area for her husband’s medical care last week.
Sarah Tiger’s husband died in a hospital Aug. 5, and their dog Hope was very important to her husband in his final days.
Hope got loose from a caretaker in the Middleton area two days before Tiger’s husband, Jack, died.
Tiger confirmed to News 3 Wednesday morning that Hope was found Tuesday night in a Middleton park. Tiger said Hope was found around 9:15 p.m. and she’s in good health. She said other than losing some weight and having low potassium levels, you can’t tell anything is wrong with her.
Tiger said now it’s time to head home with Hope and continue the grieving process.
