Woman arrested on suspicion of OWI, threatening to kill police officer
SPRING GROVE, Wis. — Law enforcement officials arrested a woman early Sunday morning following an incident where a woman threatened to kill a law enforcement officer after she had been taken to a hospital to check her blood alcohol concentration.
According to a news release, deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s department responded to the W2000 block of Wisconsin 11 for a report of a 911 hang up call. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle stuck in a road-side ditch. The subsequent investigation revealed that 26-year-old Jacquilyn H. Rowley, of Monroe, was traveling westbound when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the ditch.
Neither Rowley nor her passenger were injured in the crash.
Rowley was taken to an area hospital for a legal blood draw. While at the hospital, Rowley caused a disturbance and threatened to kill a law enforcement officer. She was arrested on suspicion of second-offense OWI, obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and felony threat to a law enforcement officer.
