Woman arrested on suspicion of 5th OWI after crash
She hit a truck repeatedly, deputies say
TOWN OF BURKE, Wis. — A Portage woman has been arrested on suspicion of her fifth-offense OWI.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a Dodge Caravan and Ford F-250 pickup truck. The crash happened on northbound USH 51 near Anderson Road in the town of Burke at 3:22 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies say Jennifer Alford, 37, was at fault. She was cited for an OWI, Operating after Revocation, Inattentive Driving, and Unsafe Lane Deviation. Deputies say she repeatedly hit the truck traveling in front of her.
