Wisconsin’s scheduled game at Penn State postponed

MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Basketball’s game at Penn State on Sunday will not be played as scheduled.

The Badgers announced the decision via Twitter on Saturday night.

“Sunday’s game at Penn State is being postponed, as mutually agreed upon by both teams due to health and safety concerns. The two schools will work with the Big Ten Conference to reschedule the game The Badgers will resume practice Monday ahead of Thursday’s home game vs. Indiana.”

The tweet did not say whether players or staff on either team had tested positive for COVID-19.

Sunday’s postponement is the first Big Ten game this season not to be played as scheduled in conference play.
