Wisconsin’s housing recovery continues
Home sales continue to recover in Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Data from the Wisconsin Realtors Association shows sales of existing homes increased about 17 percent in July, compared to the year before.
The median price of a home posted its fifth straight monthly increase.
Association president Rob Keefe said Wisconsin home sales have been outpacing the nation.
In July 6,023 homes were sold with the help of a real estate agent, compared with 5,133 in July of last year.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said the median prices of homes sold increased about 2 percent from $140,000 a year ago to $143,000.
