MADISON, Wis. — The third-ranked Wisconsin volleyball team took down Indiana in four sets Sunday to extend their win streak to 12 matches.

The Badgers were led by Sarah Franklin with 18 kills as Devyn Robinson and Anna Smrek added nine each. At the net, Wisconsin totaled eight blocks in comparison to the Hoosiers’ four.

Wisconsin coasted through the first two sets 25-17, 25-18, before slipping in the third, 25-23. The fourth set also looked poised to fall to Indiana, but the Badgers erased a 21-13 deficit, outscoring the Hoosiers 13-3 to bring home the set and the win.

Indiana will be kicking themselves over the missed opportunities they had to get back into the match. The Hoosiers committed 14 service errors compared to Wisconsin’s 4. Indiana also registered 27 attack errors while the Badgers only tallied 16.

With this win, the Badgers improve to 19-3 on the season and 13-1 in Big Ten play. The win also meant that the Badgers swept the regular season series against the Hoosiers, the fourth Big Ten team they’ve swept this year.
