Wisconsin men’s basketball enters AP Poll for first time this season

Badgers pound Savannah State, 101-60

MADISON, Wis. – The Badgers are ranked at No. 24 in the newest AP poll released Monday.

This is the first time the Badgers have been ranked in the poll this season.

The Badgers picked up wins at No. 19 Michigan and at home against Minnesota last week.

Wisconsin (19-10, 12-6), is currently tied for second place in the Big Ten rankings with Michigan State and Illinois.

Maryland is currently the lone team atop of the rankings sitting at 13-5 in conference play.

The Badgers host Northwestern in their last home game of the season on Wednesday.

Wisconsin travels to Indiana on Saturday in the final game of the regular season.
