Wisconsin man sentenced for possession, distribution of methamphetamine
MADISON, Wis. — A Wisconsin native was sentenced Wednesday for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, according to a news release from the Western District Attorney of Wisconsin.
Ashland native Timothy Vaillancourt, 37, was sentenced to five years in federal prison for his crimes, after initially being arrested for driving after revocation. Arresting officers found methamphetamine and a firearm in his car.
Vaillancourt will also serve three years of supervised release after leaving prison.
