Wisconsin Humane Society rescues 65 cats from home with deplorable conditions
GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Wisconsin Humane Society rescued 65 cats from a home with deplorable conditions, according to a Facebook post.
In the post, the Wisconsin Humane Society said nearly every surface of the home was covered in urine and feces.
The original report received by the humane society said there were 20-30 cats. When officials arrived, they found 65 in total. All of them were successfully removed from the home and are now being cared for at the Green Bay campus.
With the rescue of these cats, WHS is now caring for more than 1,000 cats across all five campuses in the state, and 200 of them are up for adoption as of now.
