Lakefront Brewery out of Milwaukee is asking individuals with bottles of My Turn Junk beer to refrigerate or carefully dispose of the bottles.

According to a Facebook post, the wild yeast from the cherries used to brew the beer may continue to ferment. Because of this, it can build up pressure in the bottles, making them at risk for explosion.

The beer itself is completely safe to drink.

Lakefront is offering a refund for those who dispose of the beer. Customers can take a picture of the bottle’s back label and send it to support@lakefrontbrewery.com, along with their address. This must be done by Oct. 1 to receive a refund.
