Wisconsin bounces back with 2-0 win over Michigan Tech

Wisconsin men’s hockey suffered their worst loss of the season Friday night at the Kohl Center when Michigan Tech beat them 8-1. It didn’t phase the Badgers Saturday in Madison when UW beat the No. 5 Huskies 2-0.
It was tied in the second period when Morgan Zulinick scored on a wrister to make it 1-0 UW.
Wisconsin goalie Joel Rumpel played the game of his life Saturday. He notched a career-high 48 saves.
The Badgers tacked on an empty netter at the end of the third period and won the game 2-0. They improved to 2-11-1 on the season and host Boston University on Friday.
