William E. (Bill) Miller
William E. (Bill) Miller, storyteller, euchre player and baseball fan, age 84, passed away on May 9, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Plain, Wisconsin the eldest son of Arthur and Verna (Elsing) Miller. On June 10th 1952, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Schoepp.
Bill was employed at Badger Ordinance and as a truck driver for Fuch’s Trucking and Marshall Erdman. When he retired he worked at Kayser driving cars to dealerships. He loved being on the road and told many stories of his adventures.
A great baseball fan, Bill loved to watch his grandsons play and never missed a Sauk Prairie Twins game. Playing euchre was a favorite past time with friends and family. Bill was also a great story teller, you knew you were going to laugh when you would see Bill.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, daughters, Karen (Prairie du Sac) Diane (Jeff) Gorsuch, Prairie du Sac, Debra (Scott) Holiday, Tampa, Florida and Cindy, Prairie du Sac; Grandsons, William, Michael (friend Katelynn), Zachary and Brian.
Bill was preceded in death by his son William, parents Arthur and Verna, in laws, Harold and Theresa Schoepp. Who will now be enjoying a six handed game of euchre in heaven.
A private funeral service will be held at St Aloysius Church. Friends and family may call on Tuesday May 16th from 4:00-7:00pm at Hooverson Funeral Home.
