Willard L Demaske
Willard “Willy” L. Demaske, 70 of Mauston died peacefully Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Veterans Administrative Medical Center, Tomah.
Willy was born April 22, 1944 in Juneau County the son of Rhea and Alfred Demaske.
He served in the US Army from 1961 until 1964. He enjoyed his hobbies of Demo Derbies, Truck Pulls and Trap Shooting. He was a hard worker and dedicated employee. He drove concrete truck for Redi Mix for 18 years and dump truck for Joseph Bollig & Sons for 14 years.
Willy is survived by his wife Shirley, a son Jeff (Jann) Demaske of Colorado, step son Chris (Nancy) Knapp of Mauston, step daughters Bonnie (Gary) Meland of Lime Ridge, Candi (Shawn) Schweitzer of Portage, Sheila Jones of Mauston, Della ( Mike) Mitchell of Kingman, AZ, 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Willy was preceded in death by his parents Rhea and Alfred Demaske and a step son Glenn Michael Jones.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Crandall Funeral Home, Mauston, where friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
