The arrival of fall usually brings with it an inordinate amount of pumpkin-flavored this and that. Lattes, muffins, pies, breads … you know the drill. But while many foods this time of year bear the gourd’s flavor, few do it well. And this sweet crepe at the ever-so-charming Bradbury’s does it exceptionally well. No artificial syrups. No chemical additives. Just real, off-the-vine pumpkin from a farm just thirty miles away. The soft, spiced pumpkin is layered with sweet mascarpone and chunky pecans, adding texture and crunch. The dollop of real-deal whipped cream and sprinkling of powdered sugar are added bonuses. Depending on your morning meal preference, it makes a nice breakfast or a midday treat.
