6 injured in crash on I-90/94 near Mauston

MAUSTON, Wis. — Six people were injured Monday morning in a vehicle crash on I-90/94 near Mauston, according to officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol.

One vehicle was involved in a rollover crash around 6:40 a.m. just north of County Road N. Authorities said everyone inside the vehicle were airlifted or taken to the hospital by ambulance. At least one occupant was ejected from the vehicle, according to release from the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Westbound lanes of the interstate were closed for around two hours as crews cleaned up road barriers and debris, the release said. Eastbound lanes were shut down for around one hour to allow for a Medlink helicopter to land.

The crash remains under investigation at this time. The Wisconsin State Patrol is leading the investigation and said multiple other agencies responded to the crash scene.

Authorities have not shared the names or ages of those injured in this crash.
