West side domestic incident leads to charges
Police: man fights with son, arms himself with knife
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police have arrested a 45-year-old Madison man following a domestic incident on the west side late Monday.
The incident happened in the 6800 block of Raymond Road just before 4 p.m.
According to police, officers responded to a home in that block where Reginald Lawrence had armed himself with a knife.
Police said an investigation showed Lawrence had been involved in a physical altercation with his son, and at some point put his arm on his son’s throat. Lawrence faces charges of disorderly conduct while armed and strangulation charges.
