Wesley Neal Bryant
Wesley Neal Bryant, age 70, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 6, 1947, in Madison, WI, the son of Donald and Bernice Bryant. Wesley graduated from River Valley High School. Wesley worked at Trachte Building Systems for 44 years and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #565. Wesley was a lifelong softball and baseball player and coach with many teams in Madison and surrounding areas. He was an avid Brewers, Packers and Badger fan. He had a love for classic, sport, and muscle cars. Most importantly, he enjoyed being there for his family. He was a father figure to many others.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Teresa; two sons, Donnie (Tina ) Bryant, Derek Bryant; daughter, Rebecca (Todd Goetsch) Bryant; sister, Sue (Ron) Berg; brother, Jack Bryant; and his beloved grandchildren, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by father, Donald Bryant; mother, Bernice Bryant; father-in-law, Herbert Niebuhr; mother-in-law, Darlene Niebuhr; brother-in-law Herbert Niebuhr, Jr., and his old pal Shadow.
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave, Middleton, at 11 AM, on Friday, April 6, 2018, with Dianne Roelke presiding. Burial will be in the Mazomanie Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE from 4 PM until 7 PM on Thursday April 5 2018.
