Waterloo man dies after car crash
Two-vehicle crash occurred in rural Dodge County
PORTLAND TOWNSHIP — A Waterloo man has died from injuries sustained in a weekend car crash, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department.
Three others were injured in the two-vehicle crash Saturday night. Emergency crews were called to County Road D and Dalman Road in Portland Township at 11:39 p.m.
Investigators said a pickup driven by Stephanie Alcivar, 17, of Waterloo, collided with a car driven by Nicholas McCormack, 19, of Reeseville, rolling the car.
Alcivar, McCormack and one of his passengers, James Cahoon, 23, of Waterloo, were taken to Watertown Hospital for treatment of injuries. Cahoon was later transferred to University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
A third passenger in the car driven by McCormack, Spencer W. Grover, 20, of Waterloo, was ejected during the crash. He was taken by Med Flight from the scene to UW Hospital. He died Sunday night.
The crash remains under investigation.
