Water main break in Monona, service temporarily shut off in part of city
MONONA, Wis. — Water sill be shut off to part of Monona Thursday while utility crews work to repair a broken main.
The water main break is located along the 5200 block of Tonyawatha Trail, according to an alert posted on the city’s website. The area is near Winnequah Park.
City officials said water will be shut off Thursday at 1 p.m. to all residences on Tonyawatha Trail between Wyldhaven and Baskerville. Water is expected to remain off until Thursday night, but the city didn’t specify a time service would return.
All residents affected by the water shut-off will be notified by crews. A door tag will be left for residents who are not home.
