WATCH LIVE: Day 4 of Dane County recount
MADISON, Wis. — Dane County’s Board of Canvassers has resumed the process of a recount for the 2020 Presidential Election.
Dane County election officials said the process is slightly behind schedule as of Monday morning. The board has tabulated 82,796 out of 345,604 total ballots so far.
Officials tested out the equipment they are using for the recount on Friday. The actual recounting of votes started on Saturday.
Dane County has a deadline of Dec. 1 to finish the recount, although election officials expect things to be done sooner than that.
This process, like the rest of the election, is open for anyone to watch, and inside the Monona Terrace, observers from both sides watch the votes for president be counted again.
