Sunrise: On a crisp clear wintery morning of January 28, 1958, Wanda Jean was born to the union of John & Lavon Howard, she was the fourth oldest of six children. Her parents John, Lavon and her eldest brother Leon (Sonny ) proceeded her in death.

At a young age her mother Lavon made her transition. Wanda along with her three sisters and two brothers was left in the care of her loving aunt Mae Adams, Grandmother Daisy Pickens and Uncle David Adams who all proceeded her in death.

Wanda was a product of the Chicago Public School system, she attended and graduated from Horace Mann School & South Shore High School Wanda also attended Kennedy King College. Early in her childhood life she accepted Christ at Mount Pisgah M. B. Church under the leadership of the Late Pastor Joseph Wells.

While living in Chicago she experienced various employment opportunities . In the early 1990’s Wanda and her two daughters relocated to Madison Wisconsin.

Sunset: Wanda was a very compassionate women who loved life to the fullest. You could find her at anytime assisting the elderly as well as working in various food pantries. She also enjoyed her janitorial position. Wanda had a passion for listening to Jazz, R.B. She also loved to sing and dance especially stepping.

On September 5, 2012 at 4:30 a.m. Wanda made her transition to be with our Heavenly Father.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: Her two Loving daughters Zenobia & Nate` (Randie) her oldest Sister Yvonne Taylor, her brother Richard Stewart (Dottie), along with her sisters Beverly-Bevy Banks (Richard ) & her baby sister Bonnie Hadley. She leaves to mourn her adorable granddaughter Zaryaa and Grandson Tayvion and her Loving aunt Mrs. Joyce Ambrose and a host of nieces : Lakeshia, Schreese, Jacquette, Amanda and Chevon. Host of Nephews: Orlando, Delvin, Eric, Torin, Irvin, Richard, Qinton and Cameron.
Wanda also leaves to cherish her memories a host of great nieces and nephews cousins and three very special friends Harold, Clarence and Angie.

Loving Messages
To My Wonderful & Loving Mom I want to say without you I wouldn’t have the success that I am having, because of you I am a strong black women, I’m a better person in life and spirit. Zaryaa and I will always cherish the fun moments we had at home because we like to party! (In my Beyonce` voice). Thank you for being the greatest Mom and Granma I could have ever asked for. Loving you forever Zenobia.

Mom I Love you so much I once told you I would always be by your side and never leave you., because you are the greatest mother, grandma & friend I would ever have. I will miss you with all my heart and soul & I pray you had a safe journey. You will always be in mine & Tayvion’s hearts forever.

Wanda you were my first sister after being with two brothers, I loved your spirit and corny jokes you will always be in my heart.
