Walker orders flags lowered in honor of former President George H. W. Bush
MADISON, Wis. — Gov. Scott Walker issued an executive order Saturday morning lowering flags to half-staff in honor of the late former president George H. W. Bush.
Bush served as the 41st president of the United States and led the nation through the waning years of the Cold War, as well as the invasion of Panama. He passed away on Friday night at the age of 94.
According to a press release, flags are to be lowered until Dec. 30.
