Victor Penny, age 85, of Milton, died on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Milton Senior Living.
Victor was born in Muskegon, Michigan on Oct. 3, 1931, the son of Edward and Mae (Woodrell) Penny. Victor married Beba Beth Hannawell on Aug. 31, 1957, in Janesville. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as a Captain flying F-51 Mustang. After serving in the military he returned to Janesville and was employed as a supervisor at the G.M. Assembly Plant. He retired from General Motors in 1982. Victor enjoyed retirement in the Ft. Walton Beach area until 2013 when he returned to Wisconsin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, snowmobiling and playing euchre with family and friends.
Victor is survived by his 2 children, Bruce (Becki) Penny of Milton and Laurie (Howie) Lipke of Janesville; 5 grandchildren: Joey (Rick) Bolden, Josh (Erika) Penny, Jake (Mary) Penny, Stacey (Dave) Adams and Paul Lipke; 8 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Brody, Erick, Gavin, Fiona, Lana, Henry, and Jude; a sister, Donna (Alan) Chien of Janesville; many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife.
Private Funeral Services will be held at a later date. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
