Victim electrically shocked during Madison robbery
Incident occurred early Wednesday morning
MADISON, Wis. — A man was punched and shocked by an electrical device Wednesday during a robbery on Madison’s west side.
Madison police said the 25-year-old man was home with his wife and three young children when an intruder kicked open their door on the 1300 block of Loreen Drive just before 5 a.m.
Police said the masked intruder had a gun and demanded money. The man is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, about 250 to 300 pounds and in his mid-20s.
The victims believed two other men were also there. The culprits fled with the victims’ money.
Police said the man was not seriously hurt and the children slept through the robbery.
