Verona woman attacked by three women downtown
Police: one suspect grabbed victim's buttocks with both hands
MADISON, Wis. — Madison Police said three woman face charges of disorderly conduct and fourth-degree sexual assault following an incident involving another woman downtown Friday night.
The incident happened in the 400 block of N. Frances St. about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
According to police, a 22-year-old Verona woman was walking down the street with a friend when the three women started making sexually suggestive remarks toward her. Then, one of them grabbed her buttocks with both hands, police said.
The victim told investgators that when she told the woman not to touch her like that, the woman said, “What you gonna do about it?” So, the victim contacted police.
Two women, Quinnteria M. Spates, 22, of Fitchburg, and Lamika N. McDaniel, 22, of Madison, face disorderly conduct charges. A third woman, Sheena L. Mclemore, 27, of Madison, faces fourth-degree sexual assault charges.
