Verona elementary school remembers teacher who died from cancer
VERONA, Wis. — Students and staff at Glacier Edge Elementary School in Verona are remembering a teacher after she died from cancer.
Lindsey Snow, who had been a teacher for 20 years, died last week.
To honor Snow, Glacier Edge is planting a red maple tree in front of the school, along with a bench.
“She was my best friend. She made everything so fun, and she made coming here every day a joy,” Lindsay Herb, a co-teacher with Snow, said. “This was already a great place to work, so she really was the icing on my cake here.”
A GoFundMe account has been set up to help with expenses not covered by insurance.
