Verona arrest prompts alert about thefts from vehicles

Verona police are asking residents to lock their cars, citing an increase in thefts.

Tyler Burrow, 18, Cross Plains, was arrested in Verona on Thursday night on suspicion of breaking into cars, according to police.

Police said he was observed in someone else’s parked car in the 1100 block of Drumlin Drive at 9:34 p.m.

A resident confronted Burrow and he was detained until police arrived.

Burrow was also arrested on a probation violation and issued a citation for underage alcohol.
