Vehicle sustained severe damage after hitting steer in the roadway
Two individuals taken by ambulance for further treatment
ADAMS, Wis. — Two people were taken by ambulance for medical treatment after striking a steer Sunday at 9:41 p.m. in the North 6000 block of County Road J in the town of Adams, officials said.
According to a release, deputies from Green County, Argyle EMS, Blanchardsville EMS and Argyle Fire Department responded to the single-vehicle crash with injuries. Jamie L. Brooks, a 23-year-old from Dakota, Illinois, was driving south on County Road J when the car struck a steer.
Brooks and a passenger, Dawayne Q. Clark Jr., 27 years old from Freeport, Illinois, reported they were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and they were injured.
Both individuals were taken by ambulance for further medical treatment, the report said. The vehicle sustained severe damage and its airbags deployed. It was towed from the scene.
