Vehicle stolen, multiple cars rummaged through on Madison’s west side

MADISON, Wis. — Police said they found numerous cars rummaged through with shattered windows early Saturday morning on the 2900 block of Ashford Lane.
According to the incident report, a 2011 beige Ford Taurus with a handgun left inside was stolen out of the lot. The car was spotted hours later fleeing the 4200 block of Owl Creek Drive after more damage to cars were reported in that area. 

One person told police they woke up to 3 muffled bangs and officers found numerous cars with their windows completely shattered.  Multiple suspects, wearing all black, fled the Owl Creek Drive area in the Ford Taurus stolen just hours before.
