POTOSI, Wis. — Grant County deputies were sent to the scene of a one-vehicle rollover crash  Friday around 9:30 a.m. on CTH B near Platte Road.

According to a release, Krista Eash, 21 from Potosi, was driving eastbound and while negotiating a curve, her 2006 Ford Five Hundred entered a gravel shoulder and then she overcorrected.

The car then fishtailed and spun out of control across both lanes of travel. The release said the car left the road on the north side of CTH B, hit a fence, went down an 8-foot embankment, rolled and the vehicle stopped on its roof in a creek.

Eash freed herself and her 5-month-old baby from the vehicle. Eash wore her seatbelt and the baby was in a properly restrained child seat, the release said.

Eash received minor injuries, but the baby was not injured. Both were taken to Southwest Health in Platteville for observation.

The vehicle was removed from the scene and had severe damage. Eash was cited for operating after suspension.
