Vehicle hit by gunfire Tuesday night in Fitchburg, police say

FITCHBURG, Wis. — The Fitchburg Police Department is investigating after a vehicle was hit by gunfire Tuesday night.

According to Sergeant Michael Buri, officers responded to a report of shots fired around 11:20 p.m. near the 2800 block of Oregon Road.

Officers found a vehicle hit by gunfire and nine shell casings nearby.

No injuries were reported.
