Vanderbilt stops Badgers, 67-58
Commodores rally in the second half
MADISON — Vanderbilt rallied from a seven point halftime deficit to defeat the Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball team, 67-58 at the Kohl Center Thursday night.
Michala Johnson led Wisconsin with 17 points as the Badgers took a 41-34 halftime lead.
But Vanderbilt outscored Wisconsin 33-17 in the second half.
Rebekah Dahlman came off the bench to score 18 points and grab nine rebounds for Vanderbilt which improved its record to 3-0 on the season.
Jackie Gulczynski and Cayla McMorris had 11 points each for the Badgers who shot only 29 percent from the field in the second half.
Wisconsin drops to 1-1 and will play at Drake Sunday afternoon at 2.
