Vander Blue leads Spurs over Bucks
Former Memorial, Marquette star scores 12
LAS VEGAS — Former Madison Memorial and Marquette basketball star Vander Blue scored 12 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 100-71 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas Wednesday night.
Blue was 4-9 from the field and 3-4 from the free throw line, scoring his 12 points in just 16 minutes of action.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 20 points while Jabari Parker added 12.
Former Badger Ben Brust played four minutes for the Bucks and had a rebound and two assists. Jordan Taylor did not score in five minutes of playing time.
The Bucks are 0-4 in the Summer League, the Spurs improved to 3-1
