UWPD trying to stop people from ‘illegally crossing’ on University Avenue
MADISON, Wis. — University of Wisconsin-Madison students caught illegally crossing the street could get warnings or fines.
According to a Facebook post, UW-Madison police started posting officers on University Avenue on Tuesday.
The officers are stationed between Charter and Mills streets.
The post said officers will start with warnings but fines could be possible.
“BE SAFE!!” the post ends with.
