UWPD: Student reports sexual assault early Saturday morning
Officials believe incident happened off campus
MADISON, Wis. — University of Wisconsin-Madison police are investigating a sexual assault that was reported early Saturday morning.
Around 3 a.m. a female UW-Madison student reported the assault to UWPD, according to a release.
Officials said it is believed the sexual assault took place off campus, and that the location is still under investigation.
The woman and the assaulter do not know each other, according to the release.
The assaulter is described as a college-aged man, 19-24 years old, with pale skin and acne scars, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build and short blond spiky hair. He was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt with cut-off sleeves, jeans and a straw cowboy hat.
