UW women’s hockey bests UND 2-1

Friday at LaBahn Arena, Sarah Nurse scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the No. 3 Badger women’s hockey team beat North Dakota 2-1. 

UW outshot UND 48-15 as Badgers goalie Ann-Renee Desbiens stopped 14 of the 15 shots she faced and improved to 13-2-1 this season. 

It was Wisconsin’s first overtime win since Feb. 17, 2013 against Minnesota Duluth.
