UW police arrest 26 during Badgers game
27 cited, 64 ejected during Badgers victory over Purdue
MADISON, Wis. — Police at UW-Madison Police made 26 arrests, issued 27 citations and ejected 64 people during the Badgers’ 41-10 victory over Purdue.
Police say 19 of the citations issued Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium went to UW students and 18 of those arrested were students, who also accounted for 39 of the ejections.
The Wisconsin State Journal also reports that police issued 24 citations for underage drinking, two for possession of alcohol and one for having a fake ID.
Of those ejected but not cited, 10 were for intoxication and 6 were for possessing alcohol.
