UW-Parkside Expelles Students Accused Of Hate Crime On Campus

A few students have been expelled form Univeristy of Wisconsin-Parkside after being accused of taking part in an alleged hate crime hoax on campus.

Investigators said former student Khalilah Ford admitted to creating what resembled a noose and a hit list that threatened a dozen black students last month, all for attention.

“I think the proper consequences should be given out and everything, but I definitely would like to have it wrapped up, ” said Jeremy Scaffold, whose name appeared on the list.

The university declined to comment on the number of students expelled, but the Kenosa County sheriff said that in addition to Ford, two others, who no longer attend UW-Parkside, have also been questioned.
