UW Madison police investigate residence hall incidents
Police asking for information from campus community
MADISON, Wis. — UW Madison police are investigating a series of incidents that took place at Sellery Residence Hall early Friday morning.
According to police, a male suspect opened the door of multiple residents’ rooms in the B-Tower but left when the residents were found awake inside.
The suspect did steal items from other rooms where occupants were sleeping inside.
Police say the suspect is described as white, age 18-20, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet ten inches, approximately 160 pounds, short dark brown hair, wearing a black fleece jacket, white shirt and blue jeans.
UW Madison police also reminding residents to lock their doors, especially when sleeping, and to not open or hold open any doors that require an access card or key for someone who doesn’t own a card or key.
