UW Health shares advice for talking to your kids about COVID-19
MADISON, Wis. — UW Health has tips on how to talk with your teens about the ongoing pandemic.
“One of the most important things to remember is that teenagers have their own thoughts and feelings about this,” UW Health Pediatrician Dr. Amy Stockhausen said. “But unless you ask and listen, you’re not going to know what those are.”
Pediatric and adolescent health experts believe that as communities implement and adjust restrictions during the COVID-19 outbreak, children and teens need extra support from their parents.
