Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is topping the list of NFL quarterbacks in a ranking from USA Today.

The ranking shows Rodgers followed by Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck rounding out the top five.

USA Today said Rodgers “boasts all the physical traits you’d want in a signal-caller with the mental acumen that separates the elite with the rest of the league’s quarterbacks.”

Jay Cutler was ranked 18th.

The ranking is based on film study and on the quarterback’s method rather than results of the play, which can be affected by the actions of other players. They were scored in six categories.
