Urban League to hold job fair with Madison school district Tuesday
Organization hopes to fill open positions
MADISON, Wis. — The Urban League of Greater Madison will hold a job seminar Tuesday evening with the Madison Metropolitan School District.
Representatives from the school district will be available to talk with potential employees about the district’s job openings. Custodians, educational assistants, food service workers and substitute secretaries are some of the positions open.
The seminar will be held at the Urban League’s Center for Economic Development and Workforce Training, located at 2222 Park St. in Madison. The seminar is between 5 and 8 p.m.
The Urban League will have computers available to people who want to apply for jobs online.
Tuesday’s seminar is the first of several seminars planned between the Urban League and Madison’s school district, one of the area’s largest employers.
