Two-vehicle crash in Lancaster leads to woman being trapped in car
LANCASTER, Wis. — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle Friday morning in crash in Lancaster, police said.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Stage Road and Aupperle Road, police said.
Amy Gotzinger, 43, Lancaster, was southbound on Stage Road when she was t-boned by Renee Vesperman, 52, from Lancaster, police said.
Vesperman failed to stop at the stop sign on Aupperle Rd when she struck Gotzinger’s vehicle sending both cars off the road, police said.
Gotzinger’s vehicle rolled onto its driver’s side, which caused her to be trapped inside the car.
Gotzinger was freed from the vehicle by Lancaster Jaws.
She was transported to Grant Regional Health Center for minor injuries. police said.
Vesperman was not injured in the crash.
