Two hospitalized in 4-car street racing crash
The crash was a result of street racing
MADISON, Wis. — Two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries Saturday night, following a four-car crash.
Police say Christofer Huerta was racing another vehicle on E. Washington Avenue and was unable to stop for a red light.
Huerta collided with an SUV traveling on Blair Street, as well as two other vehicles.
Police responded to the crash at 10:04 p.m. and found the SUV resting on its roof in the E. Washington Avenue median.
Huerta was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, 2nd degree endangering safety, as well as several other citations.
He was taken to the Public Safety Building.
