Turnbull wins it in shootout

Badgers fare well in Academic Progress Rates

The Wisconsin women’s hockey team earned a 0-0 tie at North Dakota Friday at the Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Junior Blayre Turnbull scored during the third round of the shootout to help UW claim the shootout point and take two of three points from North Dakota.

Senior Alex Rigsby was great, notching 34 saves. In addition, Rigsby stopped all three attempts UND had during the shootout. With her third shutout of the year, Rigsby now has 26 career shutouts, the second most in school history.

The Badgers and North Dakota play again tomorrow at 7 p.m.
